DIRECTOR AND PHOTOGRAPHER

“For the erotic is not a question only of what we do; it is a question of how acutely and fully we can feel in the doing.” - Audre Lorde

As a filmmaker and photographer, I am deeply inspired by the work of Audre Lorde and her concept of the "uses of the erotic." For Audre Lorde, the erotic represents a powerful force that can bring about transformation and liberation, both personally and politically. Ultimately, my goal as an artist is to use the power of the erotic to illuminate the human experience in all its beauty, complexity, and vulnerability.

I want to be part of the contribution to changing the way we as a society view our capacity for love and connection by challenging overused narratives surrounding intimacy and creating work that reflects the uniqueness of our interactions.

Whether through portrayals of romantic relationships, familial bonds, or friendships, I aim to create films and images that speak to the ways in which we connect with one another and the transformative power of these connections. By choosing to depict intimacy –in all of its forms – more honestly, we can challenge audiences to confront and reshape their own experiences of love, desire, and connection.
